Unique process to recycle mine water into beneficial agricultural products developed at Iron Mountain.
Redding, CA, December 16, 2011: ESI Agri has completed research for the development of a unique process to recycle the unlimited mineral water flowing at Iron Mountain Mine in northern California into beneficial agriculture products containing micronutrients essential to healthy plant growth. Initial testing of the products indicates impressive growth and health benefits for plants. Additionally the proprietary process will benefit the ongoing environmental cleanup at Iron Mountain, thereby reducing the high cost currently spent by the EPA.
“With the spotlight shining on the state of government finances, there is every reason to believe that by implementing this unique process to create a beneficial fertilizer will reduce tax dollars spent, create much needed jobs, and improve on the environmental process currently being used by EPA at the property” “We recognize the importance of clean water and healthy watersheds to our economy, environment and community and emphasize the importance of partnership and coordination with the EPA to insure we have clean and healthy waters” says T. W. Arman Chairman President and CEO of Iron Mountain Mine Inc., since 1976.
Farmers, ranchers and forest owners worldwide recognize we cannot continue to take from the land without giving something back. The beneficial micronutrients recovered from the rich mine water using ESI Agri's mine water recycling process can replace vital plant nutrients depleted from the soil by intensive farming.
